The central theme of this workshop is centered around our power as co--creators. As those who hold within themselves the power to co-create a different world, a healed earth, a world where we live in balance with the earth and with each other. As those who can hold joy and hope even in the midst of all the uncertainty and confusion of these, dare I say, dangerous times.
You and I live in a time of great upheaval and transformation. That includes a great upheaval of the systems we humans have created - our education, economic, political systems, and others - pretty much everything.
I believe many are feeling helpless, even hopeless, and the danger with this is that it makes us fearful and that can result in bitterness, anger, and cynicism. More chaos, more destruction, more instability. So what can we do? Is there another way of being that moves us forward towards a world we dream of, a healed earth community? YES there is.
In this time of upheaval, humankind is also undergoing a transformation from people who live and understand life only from the viewpoint of the physical, to people who perceive the world through more than our 5 senses. We're beginning to recognize the power we hold within ourselves and we're becoming people who understand we're not separate from nature, that we can't claim ownership of the earth and her resources to do with them what we want for our benefit only. We are not disconnected, and to survive the chaos of these times, we need to recognize our responsibilty as Earthkeepers. We must recognize and use the power we have within us to co-create a healed earth and a healed human community.
In the words of Alberto Villodo (Shaman and founder of the Four Winds Society and Light Body School), an Earthkeeper is "fully conscious of the impact of each thought, intention, and action you have, and you take care to make them positive and healing instead of selfish and destructive. You recognize when you're acting out of fear, and deliberately choose to act out of love instead."
So together let's explore the power of the creative force of love.
Together we'll explore the commitment of the Earthkeeper, our power to co-create, and how to be a force of change while choosing kindness, understanding, compassion, and love over anger and cruelty.
We'll envision the world we want to create and, using simple breath work and movement, we'll connect with our Earthkeeper.
There will be time for contemplation and discussion. I hope you will join us.
Supplies: Please have on hand pen and paper, a candle and matches, a small stick for burning (a small bamboo skewer works well but you could also use a toothpick), a small fire-proof bowl, saucer, dish, or something similar.

EMPOWER YOUR CREATIVITY
ONLINE WORKSHOP

This is an online 2 hour workshop. During our time together, we'll explore what we're hoping to create. What are our biggest dreams? What's holding us back; what's keeping us from living in balance and joy and creating the life we desire?
Carl Jung said that fairy tales give expression to what's hidden in the unconscious. In this workshop, we'll be using oracle cards and a story writing process to guide us gently on an inward journey with a sense of excitement and adventure rather than subjecting us to a painful and difficult process of self examination.
First, we'll connect with and learn to "feel" the energy around us. Using breath work and simple movement we'll enter that deep, quiet place of "knowing" within us. We'll then use images from oracle cards to prompt us in writing a story that reveals the fears, hopes, and dreams that are hidden in the secret places of our unconscious. Once unearthed, we'll use the ritual of a Shaman's fire ceremony to release obstacles blocking our pathway forward towards creating the life we dream of living.
There will be time for contemplation and discussion. I hope you will join us.

World events, daily annoyances, broken promises that we make to ourselves - many things can knock us off balance, disrupt the harmony in our lives. This is the human experience.
In this event, we will explore the concept of Ayni. Ayni is a word in the Quechua language of the indigenous people of the Andes. It means harmony, balance, right relationship.
A Despacho is a prayer bundle, an offering. It's created in a beautiful ceremony to offer prayers and express gratitude. Together we will build an Ayni Despacho with the intention of restoring right relationship with the earth, with each other, and within ourselves.
In a safe and protected space, we will:
- explore the concept of Ayni and what it means to be in right relationship
- examine what is throwing us off balance today
- find ways to restore inner balance and congruency
- release the energy of those things that disrupt balance in our lives in a simple fire ceremony
- build an Ayni Despacho in the spirit of hope, gratitude, and celebration
You will learn how to:
- surround yourself in a sacred and protected space
- perform your own fire ceremonies at home, using a candle
- use simple breathing techniques to balance your nervous system
- scan your energy system for incongruencies - the first step in restoring right relationship within yourself

The Healer's Rite is one of 10 initiations of the Munay-Ki that guide us in our personal transformation, empowering us to envision and create a new world. Empowering us to live harmoniously. Empowering us to transform our wounds into gifts - into sources of wisdom as we find compassion, as we learn to live through our hearts.
Munay-Ki translates to Power of Love. The Healer's Rite awakens the healing power within us and, as we work with it, helps us on our journey to become our most evolved self. This Rite teaches us to develop right relationships with all life, with all of nature, and to say yes to caring for this planet and all life on this planet.
Healing occurs at all levels of the body, mind, soul, spirit. In this workshop we will:
- explore the meaning of the Healer's Rite through the five principles of the Munay-Ki: non-violence, truthfulness, moderation, integrity, and generosity
- learn how to create a sacred space in which to work
- using breath work, simple movement practices, and imagination, learn ways to quiet our nervous system and bring us into that calm and quiet space within us
- engage in healing practices to prepare for receiving the Healer's Rite
- learn ways to continue growing and integrating the Healer's Rite into your daily life.
- create a Shaman's sand painting as a way of revelation and energetic transformation
The Healer's Rite will be transmitted, during a sacred ceremony, to those who are ready to receive.
We'll take a mid-day lunch break. LUNCH IS PROVIDED.

The beginning of spring is a time for rebalancing, for renewal and rebirth, for new possibilities and new beginnings. A primary theme of the season is balance. It's difficult to maintain balance when we see chaos all around us - the burning of the earth, poverty, violence, darkness of politics. How can we find joy, peace, and harmony in our daily lives?
At this time of year we watch the daylight hours grow and the earth come to life before our eyes. Nature opens and blossoms to the sun. How can we delight in this new life? How can we bring light into our world? How can we heal ourselves, each other, and this planet?
The spring equinox season, with its message of hope and renewal, invites us to realign, to find balance, to plant seeds of our creativity as we plant our gardens; to dream of new possibilities. We begin by letting go of what has been keeping us living in the past so we open space for something new. Then we dream of new possibilities and take action to start bringing them into our lives.
Join me on Sunday, April 14 as we accept the invitation that this cycle of nature brings to us.
In this Shamanic Circle we'll explore what we are ready to let go of and what we're dreaming of. We'll take a Shaman's journey to release past experiences where we've encountered or created obstacles that are in the way of moving forward with our dreams. SHAMANIC CIRCLE SPRING EQUINOX EVENT
JOIN ME SUNDAY, MARCH 17 FOR CONTEMPLATION, CONVERSATION, CELEBRATION

Spring equinox marks the official first day of spring and represents a time of renewal, balance, and rebirth. It's a reminder to find balance in our own lives, to do some spring cleaning and throw out all the muck that's collected over the winter months (both in our homes and in our minds and hearts) so we can focus on growing something new. Or finally getting around to finishing whatever it is that we've shoved in the back of our metaphorical closets.
This year, the day and time when light and dark are in perfect equilibrium in the Northern Hemisphere is March 19 at 8:06 pm. From that moment on, the daylight will start to increase, with the reminder, even in our darkest moments, that the light always returns.
On Sunday, March 17, I'll be hosting a celebration of the spring equinox during the next Shamanic Circle Workshop, with self-reflection, discussion, tools for transformation.
We'll ask questions like these:
- What has been germinating in me that wants to be born or reborn?
- What is it that I would love? We'll dream big, even dreaming of what we may not believe is possible.
- What spring cleaning do I need to do? What obstacles are in the way of my moving forward with my dreams? What am I attached to that I would like to release?
We'll learn about and play with tools and practices to release attachments and begin to create new neural pathways around believing that WE CAN DO IT.
We'll create an indoor candle bonfire and hold a fire ceremony to release those attachments that keep us stuck in the same place.
We'll eat spring cake in celebration of spring and the cycles of the sun. Light snacks, coffee & tea also included.
